Casting has been announced for the first production in Mischief Theatre's upcoming year-long West End residency at the Vaudeville Theatre, Groan Ups.

The new comedy is all about, as the title might suggest, growing up. Posing the question of whether we're the same people at 30 as we were when we were 13, the original Mischief company play a cast of unruly school children, to high school teenagers, and move on into adulthood.

Writers of the play and founders of the company Henry Lewis, Jonathan Sayer and Henry Shields will star as Spencer, Simon and Archie respectively, and will be joined by original Play That Goes Wrong cast members Bryony Corrigan, Dave Hearn, Charlie Russell and Nancy Zamit.

The cast is completed by George Haynes, Krystal Dockery and Holly Sumpton.

Directed by Kirsty Patrick Ward, Groan Ups premieres at the Vaudeville from 20th September, with a press night on the 10th October.

Following Groan Ups, the Mischief residency continues with a new 'Goes Wrong' production. The company has teamed up with esteemed magicians Penn and Teller to create Magic Goes Wrong, which will run at the theatre from 14th December.

Groan Ups is at the Vaudeville Theatre from 20th September.

Groan Ups tickets are available now.
