"Notes From New York" Arts Theatre one night only Sun 2 Nov 03

Notes From New York a celebration of contemporary US musical theatre, will play for one night Sun 2 Nov 03 at the Arts Theatre, starring Shona Lindsay, Paul Spicer, Julie Atherton, Damien Edwards.

The show will comprise songs from the shows of Jason Robert Brown (Songs for a New World, Parade and The Last Five Years) and Andrew Lippa (The Wild Party and John & Jen), including a number of UK and European premieres, as well as a preview of material from Andrew Lippa's new musical A Little Princess, which will receive its world première on Broadway next year.

Notes From New York is directed by David Randall, with musical direction and arrangements by Danny Whitby and musical staging by Paul Spicer.

Shona Lindsay's West End credits include Christine in "Phantom of the Opera" and Sandy in "Grease"; Paul Spicer's credits include "The Witches of Eastwick", "Fame" and "Taboo" and most recently he has performed in an international production of "Evita" in Beirut; Julie Atherton credits include Sophie in "Mamma Mia" and will join the cast of "Fame" at the Edinburgh Playhouse this Christmas in the lead role of Serena; Damien Edwards is currently playing Roy Orbison in The Roy Orbison Story on tour.
