Open Air Theatre Regent's Park announce Cast for 2003 Season

The Open Air Theatre, Regent's Park, has announced the cast for its 71st season.

The season runs in repertoire from 2 June 03 to 6 Sep 03 .

Productions with cast include.....

Two Gentlemen of Verona, by William Shakespeare, opens on 13 June, following previews from 4 Jun 03, closes 4 Sep 03. It is directed by Rachel Kavanaugh, with designs & costumes Paul Farnsworth. Two impulsive young friends travel to Milan where they attempt to win the affections of the beautiful and sophisticated Silvia.
Cast includes: Ian Talbot (The Fool Launce), Walter van Dyk (Duke of Milan), Issy van Randwyck (Silvia), Nick Fletcher (Proteus), Nicholas Burns (Valentine), Phillipa Peak (Julia).

High Society, Music and lyrics by Cole Porter, opens on 24 July, following previews from 22 July 03, closes 2 Sep 03. It is directed by Ian Talbot, choreographed by Gillian Gregory, with designs & costumes Paul Farnsworth. HIGH SOCIETY is a musical adaptation of Philip Barry's 1939 play "The Philadelphia Story", which was made into a film in the 1950s starring Grace Kelly, Bing Crosby and Frank Sinatra. This is the first professional London staging for over 15 years. HIGH SOCIETY is the story of a recently divorced woman, with an impending marriage to an upper-crust man. A reporter, who is meant to be covering the wedding, gets her drunk, takes her swimming and reveals a few gaps in her high-class demeanour.This musical version features songs such as 'Who Wants To Be A Millionaire', ''True Love' You're Sensational' and 'Swell Party'.
Cast includes: Tracie Bennett (Liz), Brigit Forsyth (Mother Lord), Annette McLaughlin (Tracy), Dale Rapley (Dexter), Hal Fowler (Mike).
