Peter Pan in a tent in Kensington Gardens

A new production of JM Barrie's Peter Pan, will open in a specially designed tent in Kensington Gardens, 10 June 2009, following previews from 26 May - running to 30 Aug 2009.

Adapted by Tanya Ronder, it is directed by Ben Harrison with designs by William Dudley.

The production will include a 360-degree projected scenic design, which will bring all the magical aspects of Neverland to life.

Situated in the north west section of London's Kensington Park Gardens. The purpose-built tent sits between the Long Water of the Serpentine and West Carriage Drive.

The state of the art theatre tent will seat 1, 100 people and has a bar, restaurant and picnic facilities
