The cast has been announced for the world premiere of Matt Hartley's Microcosm, which runs at the Soho Theatre in central London from 7 to 25 May 2014.

"Alex has his flat. His home. He's building a life with Clare. Nothing can derail his happiness, not even their Tom Cruise obsessed neighbour, who is always coming round. He just wishes those kids would stop hanging round outside his house. But they're just kids, with nothing to do, they're not dangerous, right?"

Philip McGinley is best known for playing Anguy the Archer in HBO's Game of Thrones. His theatre credits include 'Herding Cats' at the Hampstead Theatre, 'Hobson's Choice' at the Sheffield Crucible and 'Kes' at the Manchester Royal Exchange. Jenny Rainsford has recently been seen in 'Straight' at the Bush Theatre as well as 'The Importance of Being Earnest' at the Rose Theatre Kingston. They will be joined by Christopher Brandon, and John Lightbody.

The production is directed by Derek Bond, and features design by James Perkins, lighting by Sally Ferguson and sound by Jo Walker. Playwright Matt Hartley has had a number of previous works performed in the UK including 'Horizon' (National Theatre Connections) and 'The Bee' (Edinburgh Festival).
