Prometheus Bound at White Bear Theatre

Fire Under the Horizon presents Prometheus Bound by Aeschylus, at the White Bear Theatre, a pub fringe venue in Kennington, south London, from 14 May to 2 June 2013.

Directed by Cieranne Kennedy-Bell, designed by Heather Mort, lighting by Adam Linsson, sound by Annelie Nederber. Cast includes Henry Regan (Prometheus), Sadie Tonks (Io), Drew Davies (Oceanus), Jacob Dunn (Power), Alex Sycamore (Force), Chris Walters (Hermes), Mark Moore (Hephaestus) and Christie Banks, Susie Fairbrother, Jessica Gardner, Chrissy Kett, Venetia Maitland, Helena Payne (Chorus).

Brings the Fire Under The Horizon aesthetic as well as puppetry and physical theatre to this Ancient Greek masterpiece.

In a contest of wills between Gods and Titans, Prometheus' act of goodwill to mankind could not be tolerated under the new regime. Chained to a cliff side to endure endless tortures, Prometheus, aided by those he can still trust, struggles with his fate, knowing it will last until the end of days.
