Jacob Richmond and Brooke Maxwell's new musical Ride The Cyclone The Musical will open at Southwark Playhouse Elephant this winter. Performances begin on 14 November, running until 10 January, 2026.

The genre-defying show explores what happens when a freak rollercoaster accident claims the lives of six teenagers. Trapped in limbo, they are offered one last shot at life — and must prove why they deserve a second chance at life.

Directed and choreographed by Lizzi Gee, the musical had its world premiere in Canada in 2008, before an American premiere in September 2015 and a run off Broadway at the Lucille Lortel Theatre in November 2016.

Further creatives and casting are to be announced.
