Samantha Barks and Simon Lipkin to star in First Date

The virtual production will be available to stream for three nights next month.

The full cast for the upcoming virtual production of First Date has been announced. Samantha Barks and Simon Lipkin will play two lovers in the rock musical, available to stream from 22 - 24 October.

When two singletons in New York City go on a blind date, will they find love at first sight? Or, will their night out become a dating disaster for the ages? First Date features a book by Austin Winsberg, with music and lyrics by Alan Zachary and Michael Weiner.

Samantha Barks will play Casey. Soon to play Elsa in the West End premiere of Disney's Frozen, her previous credits include Pretty Woman: The Musical as Vivian Ward on Broadway. She's joined by Simon Lipkin as Aaron, who recently starred in Ghost Stories at the Ambassadors Theatre.

The cast is completed by Rufus Kampa as Young Aaron, Oscar Conlon-Morrey, Nicholas McLean and Danielle Steers.
