School For Wives by Moliere at White Bear Theatre

Mercurius presents School For Wives, by Moliere, translated and adapated by Neil Bartlett, and directed by Jenny Eastop, at the White Bear Theatre, a pub fringe venue, in Kennington, south London, from 5 to 23 March 2013.

Arnold has shut his young ward Agnes away for years to make sure she's too innocent to cheat on him. Now she's reached 18 he's planning the wedding, but her child-like nature has led her to open her heart to young Horace, who's now making similar plans. Horace turns to Arnold for help, little realising he's the very rival he's trying to fool. Luckily Arnold has two servants who are guaranteed to create chaos with their incompetence.
