The Landor Theatre in Clapham, south London, have announced a new production of the classic Broadway musical She Loves Me which will run at the pub venue from 4 February to 7 March 2015, with an official opening on 9 February 2015.

Based on the play 'Parfumerie' by Hungarian playwright Miklos Laszlo, this musical comedy is written by the team behind 'Fiddler on the Roof' and features book, music and lyrics by Sheldon Harnick and Jerry Bock. The show has had numerous revivals on both Broadway and the West End, as well as numerous productions on the London fringe.

She Loves Me revolves around one little shop in Budapest and two of its employees. Despite being consistently at odds with each other at work, through lonely hearts ads they unknowingly become each other's anonymous pen pals and a world of witty romance evolves.

Whilst the score features songs such as "Vanilla Ice Cream", "A Trip to the Library" and the title song "She Loves Me", the book is known to many through the popular Tom Hanks-Meg Ryan film, 'You've Got Mail' which followed the same story.

The production will be directed by Robert McWhir, with musical direction by James Cleeve, choreography by Robbie O'Reilly, lighting design by Richard Lambert and designs by David Shields.
