STAR QUALITY EXTENDS 2 MONTHS

Noel Coward's Star Quality, has been extended by 2 months at the Apollo Theatre, Shaftesbury Ave, and is now taking bookings to 23rd March 02.

This Theatre Royal Windsor & Yvonne Arnaud Theatre production opened at the Apollo Theatre from 29th Oct 01 to good notices from the popular press: THE DAILY TELEGRAPH said, "Anyone who loves theatre and the often absurd people who make it happen, Star Quality turns out to be an unexpected treat." THE TIMES describes it as "malicious fun". THE STAGE said, "It is splendid entertainment - amusing rather than hilarious but shot through with wit, wisdom and a deep knowledge of the theatre based on Coward's own experience."

The play is adapted and directed by Christopher Luscombe and features Penelope Keith, Russell Boulter, Una Stubbs, Peter Cellier, Nick Fletcher, Nick Waring, Marjorie Yates.

It is designed by Tim Goodchild with lighting by Nick Fisher.

The caustic comedy takes a behind-the-scenes look at 'theatreland' and its various characters, as personalities and egos clash during rehearsals for a London production.
