Stevie Doc and Taila Halford to star in 'The Devil Wears Prada' in the West End

New lead casting has been revealed for The Devil Wears Prada at the Dominion Theatre in the West End.
Taking over from 21 October are Stevie Doc (Mamma Mia!) and Taila Halford (School of Rock), playing the roles of Andy and Emily respectively. They replace Georgie Buckland and Amy Di Bartolomeo who originated the roles in the West End.
The Devil Wears Prada musical has a score by Elton John and Shaina Taub (Suffs), a book by Kate Wetherhead (Burlesque the Musical), and direction and choreography by Jerry Mitchell (Kinky Boots).
The musical follows Andy as she secures a job at a fashion magazine under the watchful eye of Runway editor in chief Miranda Priestly. But as the job becomes increasingly demanding, she wonders just how much she'll sacrifice to get ahead.
The creative team has set design by Tim Hatley, costume design by Gregg Barnes, lighting design by Bruno Poet, and sound design by Gareth Owen.
