UPDATE: Following the first episode, a mini-series of Tap That will now be available to stream online. Upcoming Tap That shows will take place on 9 April, 23 April and 7 May.

fter American editions of virtual dating shows, Tap That will now match up British singletons, as the production makes its European premiere. Created by immersive comedy company Face Off Unlimited, the first UK episode of Tap That will take place on 26 February, hosted by Amy Hart and Paul Taylor-Mills.

Aiming to put Cupid's decisions in the audience's hands, contestants will be paired together in the hopes of finding true love. Tap That is designed to be a multiscreen experience, with audiences voting on smartphones and watching on their television screens.

Potential contestants can sign up to take part in Tap That voluntarily, matched up on a blind date by the end of the episode.

The British version of Tap That will be hosted by Amy Hart, who took part in Love Island 2019 and is a self-confessed theatre lover. Paul Taylor-Mills will also host, currently serving as artistic director at the Turbine Theatre.
