"THE HOBBIT" TO OPEN AT THE QUEENS

J R R Tolkien's The Hobbit, adapted by Glynne Robbins, will open at the Queens Theatre on 13th Dec 00, following previews from 12th Dec 00, for  limited run to 29th Jan 2001.

Directed by Roy Marsden, the play tells the story of Bilbo Baggins, who is reluctantly swept up into a dangerous adventure in a world populated by elves, trolls and dragons.

The show has  design by Simon Ash, music by Mark Bloxsidge, choreography by Stephanie Carter and costumes by Abigail Hammond.
