The Lonely Soldier Monologues at the Cockpit

PMJ Productions in association with Liminal Space present The Lonely Soldier Monologues, by Helen Benedict, at the Cockpit Theatre in Marylebone, north London, from 6 to 31 May 2015, with an official opening on 7 May.

The verbatim play is directed by Prav MJ and tells the stories of seven women's experiences in the US military during the Iraq war. PMJ Productions will be partnering with human rights organisation Liberty for the duration of the play.

"The play explores why the women enlisted, what they endured and how it affected them and their families when they came home. The stories in the play exposes some shocking truths about war and asks some relevant questions about the 'enemy within' the military."

The Lonely Soldier Monologues features lighting design by Gareth Prentice and sound design by James Bell.
