The Maddening Rain, written by Nicholas Pierpan, is at the Soho Theatre, an off west end venue in central London, from 06 Dec - 10 Dec 2011.

Directed by Matthew Dunster, designed by Alison McDowall, sound by David Sharrock, lighting by Emma Chapman and produced by Darbourne Luff and Upstart Theatre.

This one-man play cuts to the heart of the global recession, following one man's rise from a dead-end job in a bowling alley to the trading floors of the Square Mile. As he reaches the top in securities finance, he realises the only obstacles are the people in his way.
