The Royal Court Theatre has announced their Spring/Summer Season

In the theatre Downstairs....

Shining City written and directed by Conor McPherson, opens 9 Jun 04 , following previews from 4 Jun, and booking to 17 Jul 04. It is presented by The Royal Court and Gate Theatre Dublin. It is designed by Rae Smith.
In Dublin a man comes to a counsellor seeking help. He claims to have seen the ghost of his recently deceased wife. But what begins as merely an unusual encounter soon becomes a desperate struggle between the living and the dead - a struggle which will shape and define both men for the rest of their lives.

Blest Be The Tie by Dona Daley, opens 19 Apr 04 , following previews from 15 Apr, and booking to 8 May 04. It is presented by The Royal Court and Talawa Theatre Company. It is directed by Paulette Randall, designed by Libby Watson, with lighting by James Farcombe.
Florence can't complain - her children are grown up, she's got best friend Eunice to look after her and is happy to call London her home. But when a surprise visitor from Jamaica comes to London, her flat seems a little too small.

Lucky Dog by Leo Butler, opens 18 May 04 , following previews from 14 May, and booking to 12 Jun 04. It is directed by James Macdonald
Eddie and Sue settle down for Christmas dinner. THe wine is poured, the crackers are pulled and the weather forcasts snow. But the dog won't eat her giblets and the telephone keeps ringing.

Country Music by Simon Stephens, opens 28 Jun 04 , following previews from 24 Jun, and booking to 17 Jul 04. It is presented by The Royal Court and ATC. It is directed by Gordon Anderson
A story of crime and redemption. Starting at the mouth of the River Thames and moving across England over 20 years. It begins with a life choice for Jamie Carris and ends with a re-union with his young daughter. It is a story about a killer.
