CBE for actor Rowan Atkinson, although mainly known for his tv work - Mr. Bean and Blackadder, has recently starred in Quartermaine's Terms at the Wyndham's Theatre earlier this year, and Fagin in Oliver at the Theatre Royal Drury Lane in 2008/09.

A CBE for actor Julian Glover, recent London stage credits include Maurice's Jublilee at the Richmond Theatre earlier this year, The President Holiday at the Hampstead in 2008, Voysey Inheritance at the National Theatre in 2006 and The Dresser at the Duke of York's in 2005. He is well for film roles such as General Maximilian Veers in Star Wars Episode V: The Empire Strikes Back, the James Bond villain Aristotle Kristatos in For Your Eyes Only, Walter Donovan in Indiana Jones and the Last Crusade.

A CBE for actress Claire Bloom, recent West End stage credit includes Six Dance Lessons in Six Weeks at the Haymarket Theatre in 2007. She is best known on TV for her portrayal of Lady Marchmain in Brideshead Revisited in 1981.
