Therese Raquin transfers to The Park Theatre

The Finborough Theatre's production of Thérèse Raquin transfers to the Park Theatre in Finsbury Park, north London from 30 July to 24 August 2014.

Described as "A story of paralysing passion", this adaptation of Émile Zola's classic French novel of the same name is set in 19th Century Paris. Madame Raquin marries off her beautiful niece Thérèse to her sickly son Camille and the pair have a loveless and lifeless existence. As Camille brings Laurent to stay, he stirs passion in Thérèse and she abandons her loyalties to her husband.

After opening at the west London fringe venue on 27 March 2014, this new musical features music by Craig Adams book and lyrics by Nona Shepphard. The production is directed by Nona Shepphard and features designs by Laura Cordery. Casting for the transfer is yet to be confirmed.
