'Titanique' confirms planned West End run
The musical has received critical acclaim and multiple awards since its premiere off Broadway at Asylum Theater in 2022. It is currently at the Daryl Roth Theatre.
The hit musical comedy Titanique has confirmed plans for a West End run later this year. The show is currently performing at Off-Broadway venue the Daryl Roth Theatre.
The musical, which is co-written by Tye Blue, Marla Mindelle, and Constantine Rousouli, has received critical acclaim and multiple awards since its premiere off Broadway at Asylum Theater in 2022.
The parody of James Cameron's Oscar-winning Titanic film features a raft of Celine Dion’s iconic songs including “My Heart Will Go On”, “All by Myself”, and “To Love You More”.
Producer Eva Price said: “It has been thrilling to produce Titanique in New York these last two years. This hilarious new musical has been bringing so much joy to audiences that it’s time to dock our ship of dreams in international waters. I am thrilled Londoners will soon experience the unhinged delight that Titanique brings night after night to Americans.”
Titanique is directed by Blue (RuPaul’s Drag Race) and choreographed by Ellenore Scott (Funny Girl, Little Shop of Horrors), with music supervision, arrangements, and orchestrations by Nicholas James Connell.
Casting, venue, dates, and the full creative team are yet to be announced.
