William Shakespeare's The Taming of the Shrew, at the Queen's Theatre, in Hornchurch, northeast London, 8 to 30 April 2011.

This comedy musical version is set in the Wild West. Welcome to Padua, Texas, where men are men and cattle are nervous... When Petruchio rides into town seeking fortune and a wife, he sets his sights on beautiful, ferocious Kate. He'll do anything to tame her and get a ring on her finger. But the wedding's a joke and the marriage a farce. Who wins in this barn-storming comedy of brawling lovers? Songs include country melodies such as Gene Autry's Back in the Saddle Again, Frankie Lane's High Noon and Tumbling Tumbleweeds by The Sons of the Pioneers .
