"WITCHES OF EASTWICK" NOW BOOKING TO DECEMBER 2001

Booking has now opened for performances of THE WITCHES OF EASTWICK, at the Prince of Wales Theatre up to 22nd Dec 2001.

The show is to close at the Theatre Royal Drury Lane on 24th Feb 01, and will transfer to The Prince of Wales Theatre, from 23rd Mar 01.

The production's spectacular flying and scenic effects and pyrotechnics will be adapted to suit the new space, which will involve the audience even closely within its intimate surroundings.

The £5 million production, which opened in July,has advance bookings of over £1.5 million and has played to more than £200,000 at the box office each week since it opened. 

The show written by  John Dempsey and   Dana Rowe, based on the novel by John Updike and the Warner Bros. Motion Picture, currently features Ian McShane as 'Darryl', and Lucie Arnaz, Maria Friedman and Joanna Riding as the three witches. This cast is expected to transfer with the show in March.
