Cast Mates: Lieutenant of Inishmore’s Denis Conway and Chris Walley
As they approach the end of their limited run in Martin McDonagh's satire The Lieutenant of Inishmore, dressing room neighbours Denis Conway and Chris Walley have got to know each other pretty well.
In the play, which stars Aidan Turner, Conway and Walley play neighbours Donny and Davey. Davey discovers a dead cat in the road, and it transpires the cat belongs to Padraic, a Lieutenant of the Irish National Liberation Army who has been thrown out for being too mad.
Ahead of a gala performance of the play on Thursday, in aid of MGCfutures which aids young performers and creatives through the Michael Grandage Company, we went backstage at the Noel Coward to put their knowledge of each other to the test.
The Lieutenant of Inishmore is at the Noel Coward Theatre until 8th September, with a special gala performance on 6th September.
The Lieutenant of Inishmore tickets are available now.
