We chatted to the actor Declan Bennett, star of Andrew Lloyd Webber's Jesus Christ Superstar, about the superb production's revival at Regent's Park Open Air Theatre.

The production opened last July to great acclaim, receiving an Olivier Award nomination for Best Revival, and the show returns to the theatre this summer for a limited run. It also means there are now four Andrew Lloyd Webber musicals running in the West End concurrently: Jesus Christ..., The Phantom of the Opera, School of Rock and Evita.

Declan Bennett started out as a musician, writing and performing his own music under the stage name Sumladfromcov and playing in bands. He has since turned his attentions to acting, with roles in EastEnders (playing Dot Cotton's grandson Charlie) and starring in the West End premiere of Once at the Phoenix in 2013.

We caught up with Bennett in rehearsals and asked him about what makes this production of Jesus Christ Superstar so unique.
