Fuel presents Autobiographer, written, directed and starring Melanie Wilson at the Toynbee Studios at ArtsAdmin in east London from 17 April to 5 May 2012 .
The cast also features Alice Lamb, Penelope McGhie, Melanie Wilson.
Combining a lyrical text and immersive staging with Melanie Wilson’s enigmatic performance style, Autobiographer draws us into the unraveling mind of 76 year old Flora. A cast of four play Flora simultaneously at different ages, combining text with a score of voice and kaleidoscopic sound to reveal a curious and evocative portrait of a life and its memories through the lens of dementia.
The show is designed by Peter Arnold, lighting by Ben Pacey, sound by Melanie Wilson.
