Barbarians by Barrie Keeffe at Broadway Studios in Tooting

Tooting Arts Club presents Barbarians, by Barrie Keeffe, at the Broadway Studios in Tooting, south west London, from 17 Apr to 12 May 2012.

Directed by Bill Buckhurst, cast includes Jamie Crew, Tyler Fayose, Thomas Coombes.

Tells the story of Paul, Louis and Jan, three lads from Lewisham. Broke, bored and demoralized by the hand that they've been dealt, this trilogy of short plays unflinchingly captures the life of these three young men and their responses to the challenges and choices they face.

Set in the year before the winter of discontent, parallels with today's society are starkly apparent in 2012 with unemployment and economic hardship once again on the news agenda.
