The Theatre Royal Stratford East in east London will present their annual pantomime, a new version of Beauty and the Beast which runs at the venue from 29 November 2014 to 17 January 2015.

"Join Belle on her magical adventures across a strange unfamiliar land. Will our heroine rescue the Beast and save the day, or will the evil witch get her wicked way and ruin all our happy ever afters?"

The cast for the pantomime includes Helen Aluko (Belle), Laurence Aldridge (Mr Hardboiled), Vlach Ashton (Beast), Allyson Ava-Brown (Prunella), Michael Bertenshaw (Aunty Giselle), Ralph Bogard(Mr Choakum), Amelia Cavallo (Peter Pan), Jorell Coiffic-Kamall (Baby Bear), Antonia Kemi Coker (Witch), Minal Patel (Dad).

Beauty and the Beast features book and lyrics by Paul Sirett, and music & lyric by Wayne Nunes & Perry Melius. It is directed by Dawn Ried, with choreography by Natasha Khamjani and designs by Jenny Tiramani & Harriet Barsby.
