"Bill Hicks: Slight Return" adds extra two dates
Bill Hicks: Slight Return by Chas Early & Richard Hurst, which opened at the Venue, Leicester Square, on 1 June 2006 for a limted run, has added two extra dates - 23 & 24 June at 8pm at The Venue.
This one man show, starring Chas Early is the true story of one man's attempt to change the world through stand-up comedy. Bill Hicks' edgy, confrontational style has influenced many comedians. Chas Early uses his uncanny impersonation of the much-missed cult comic to take a look at what Hicks would have made of the world in 2006. Unsurprisingly, he is none too impressed, and everyone from George Bush to Coldplay fall victim to a tirade of abuse.
It is directed by Richard Hurst, produced by James Seabright.
Previously, the show had runs at the Edinburgh fringe 2004 & 2005, a national tour and an extended run Off West End at the Soho Theatre in 2005.
