Blue Rider Group will present a Beckett and Havel Double Bill, comprising the plays Catastrophe by Samuel Beckett and Private View by Václav Havel at the Drayton Arms pub Theatre in South Kensington from 28 July to 15 August 2015.

Both plays are described as being "dark, tense and in parts cruelly funny". Catastrophe was written in 1982, and dedicated to Václav Havel, then a political prisoner in Czechoslovakia, serving a four and a half year sentence for 'subversive activities'. Private View conveys the ills of society in an absurd world.

The production will be directed by Clare Bloomer and will feature May Moore, Gary Tushaw, and Mark Webb.

'Private View' was first performed by Blue Rider Group as part of the RADA Festival in 2014, and they have been given permission by the Beckett Estate to perform the piece alongside 'Catastrophe'.
