Continuing their dedication to showcasing new British shows, a folk musical has been added to the series of livestreams at Southwark Playhouse. Titled Brother, the musical will focus on the importance of family connections, available to watch from 5 - 6 March.

Written by Robin Simões da Silva and Annabel Mutale Reed, Brother follows Reid and Jackson, two siblings who have drifted apart from one another. As their mother Cassie suddenly dies, the two come back together, contemplating the loss of their childhood home and the memories they share.

The Brother cast will star Robin Simões da Silva, alongside Melanie La Barrie who is currently in & Juliet at the Shaftesbury Theatre. Sam Peggs and Georgina Lloyd-Owen complete the cast.

Tom Jackson Greaves will direct Brother, previously choreographing London productions of Amelie and High Fidelity.

Other musicals streaming from Southwark Playhouse include Fiver, Stay Awake, Jake and Before After.

Brother is available from 5 - 6 March. For more information, read here
