Candida by Bernard Shaw at Greenwich Playhouse 31 May

CandyKing Productions presents Candida, by Bernard Shaw, at the Greenwich Playhouse, in south London , from 31 May to 26 June 2011.

The story of Candida, a woman whose staid life is transformed when she is wooed by the younger, enigmatic poet Marchbanks. Presented with the choice between her staid clergyman husband and her new admirer, she is forced to question her own desires, beliefs and feelings as she wields the power in this emotional menage a trois. CandyKing's production sees the play set in the 1940s, in an homage to the British humour of the popular Ealing comedies.
