Farce set in East London. Food prices are soaring at the supermarket, so a mob of fuming housewives take direct action by refusing to pay for their weekly shop. As the police come knocking, Toni and best mate Maggie cook up an outrageous plan to hide their loot. Already struggling with the bills and mortgage on their ex-council flat, what will Toni tell her newly laid-off husband? And why are there rabbits' heads and canary millet for dinner? From benefit cuts and fare hikes to home-flipping MPs and Olympic-sized bonuses, nothing and no one is spared in this 'crazy sitcom of hysterical pregnancies and hilarious consequences'!
