Full casting has been announced for the return of Andy Nyman and Jeremy Dyson's horror play Ghost Stories to the West End following its recent revival at the Lyric Hammersmith.

Reprising their roles at the Ambassadors Theatre, Simon Lipkin, Garry Cooper, Preston Nyman and Mike Priddle will each appear in the transfer after taking on the parts for the Lyric production.

Lipkin plays Professor Goodman, a scholar of the supernatural who investigates three terrifying tales he has never quite got to the bottom to, which are told by Cooper, Nyman and Priddle's characters.

Directed by Sean Holmes, Dyson and Nyman (who currently appeared as Tevye in the West End production of Fiddler on the Roof), the celebrated production premiered at the Lyric Hammersmith in 2020 before transferring to the West End's Duke of York's and Arts theatres.

In 2017, Nyman starred in a film adaptation of the play which starred Martin Freeman, Paul Whitehouse and Alex Lawther. Ghost Stories was revived at the Lyric Hammersmith in 2019 as part of outgoing artistic director Sean Holmes' final season at the venue.

The production features designs by Jon Bausor, lighting by James Farncombe, sound by Nick Manning and special effects by Scott Penrose.

Ghost Stories is at the Ambassadors Theatre from 3rd October to 4th January with a press night on 9th October.
