Casting for Mamma Mia! The Party in London announced

Initial casting has been announced for the UK premiere of Mamma Mia the Party , the immersive experience based on the ABBA story of the same name.

At a specially adapted venue in The O2 in London, audiences are invited to eat, drink and dance along to ABBA's greatest in a Greek taverna. Through dialogue and ABBA songs, the story of the show will take place around the dining guests.

Mamma Mia the Party runs at The O2 from 29th August.

The cast of the production features: Fed Zanni, Steph Parry, Joanna Monro, AJ Bentley, Julia Imbach, Elin König Andersson, Kimberly Powell, Pauline Stringer, Gregor Stewart, Linda John-Pierre (playing Debbie at certain performances), Allie Ho Chee (playing Bella at certain performances), Molly Cleere, Jessica Spalis, Dawn Spence and Matthew Wesley. 

The musicians will be John Donovan, Luke Higgins, Kathryn Tindall, Steve Rushton and Mark Pusey.

Mamma Mia the Party premiered in Stockholm in January 2016, and is currently in its fourth year. The production features music and lyrics by Benny Andersson and Björn Ulvaeus (some songs with Stig Anderson), and a story by Calle Norlén, Roine Söderlundh and Ulvaeus. It has been adapted for the UK stage by Sandi Toksvig.

Co-directed by Roine Söderlundh and Stacey Haynes, the show features set designs by Bengt Fröderberg, costumes by Annsofi Nyberg, designed by Patrick Woodroffe and sound design by Gareth Owen.

Mamma Mia the Party runs at The O2 from 29th August.
