CASTING UPDATE FOR VAGINA MONOLOGUES

Casting news concerning The Vagina Monologues.

Donna Air, Jackie Clune and Jenny Jules to join the cast from 25th March 02 for four weeks only to 20th April 02.

Donna Air, is a TV presenter and personality.

Jackie Clune is a stand-up comedienne who has starred in her own shows; "Showstopper", "Chicks with Flicks", "It's Jackie", "Follow the Star!", "An Audience with Jackie Clune" and, most recently, "Bitchin". She has also written for "Smack The Pony" and wrote and performed "Comedy Nation".

Jenny Jules London credits include "Wine in the Wilderness", "the Great White Hope", "The Colour of Justice", "Two Trains Running", "Pecong" and most recently The Promise" all at the Tricycle Theatre. Her TV credits include "NCS Manhunt", "A Respectable Trade", "Kavanagh QC" and "Prime Suspect 2".

(Supermodel Naomi Campbell, was expected to join the cast from 25th March 02, but it has not happened!! )

The Vagina Monologues is written by Eve Ensler, designed by Bunny Christie with lighting by Chris Davey.

Based on interviews with a diverse group of women - from a Long Island antique dealer to a Bosnian refugee - the play brazenly explores the humour, power, pain, wisdom, outrage, mystery and excitement hidden in vaginas.
