City of Angels at Putney Arts Theatre 21-24 Sep

Cygnet Players present City of Angels , Music by Cy Coleman, lyrics by David Zippel and book by Larry Gelbart, at The Putney Arts Theatre, a fringe venue in south west London, from 21-24 September 2011.

City of Angels is two shows in one. It is the interweaving of two plots, one dealing with the writing of a screenplay in the legendary Hollywood of the '40s; the other, the enactment of that screenplay. A story of reality versus film, it interweaves two plots and two musical scores; but will there be two happy endings?
