Dirty Blonde, a comedy about Mae West lovers who fall in love, by Claudia Sheer, opens at the Duke of York's 14 June 2004, following previews from 7 June , and booking to 28 Aug 2004.

Dirty Blonde first appeared at Off-Broadway's New York Theatre Workshop before it transferred to Broadway's Helen Hayes Theatre on May 1, 2000. The production picked up five Tony nomination and went on a national tour of the US. The show made its UK debut at the West Yorkshire Playhouse back in August 2002.

The original Broadway cast and backstage team reunite for this production.

Directed by James Lapine, starring Claudia Shear (Jo and Mae West), Kevin Chamberlin (Charlie) & Bob Stillman.

Follows two single New Yorkers who coincidentally meet at the grave site of the legendary film star and sex symbol Mae West.
