Tower Theatre presents Educating Rita, by Willy Russell, directed by Gigi Robarts, at the Theatro Technis Theatre, a 120-seat fringe venue, near Camden, north London, from 18 to 22 June 2013.

Rita White is a fun, feisty girl who is eager and quick to learn. Dissatisfied with the routine of her work and social life, this working class Liverpudlian hairdresser seeks inner growth by signing up for an Open University course in English Literature. The play opens as Rita meets her tutor, Frank, for the first time. Frank Bryant, a published author and poet, is seeking someone special with an open heart and an open mind to leap aboard the wonderful adventure of learning. The two have an immediate and profound effect on one another.
