Frances Barber cast in Les Parents Terribles at Trafalgar

Casting has been announced for the Donmar Warehouse production of Les Parents Terribles, by Jean Cocteau, translated by Jeremy Sams, which opens at the Trafalgar Studios 2 Theatre, 29 Nov 2010, following previews from 25 Nov - running to 18 Dec 2010.

Cast includes Frances Barber (Yvonne), Tom Byam Shaw (Michael), Anthony Calf (George), Elaine Cassidy (Madeleine), Sylvestra Le Touzel (Leo)

Directed by Chris Rolls, designed by Andrew Edwards, lighting by Richard Howell.

A bohemian household in '30s Paris. When Michael declares his love for a girl, his devoted mother burns with jealousy while his father is shocked to discover that his son's lover is someone he knows only too well.

Prior to Les Parents Terribles, Mark Bonnar will star as 'Tim Tooney' in Novecento by Alessandro Baricco, directed by Roisin McBrinn, concerning a legendary jazz musician (28 Oct to 20 Nov 2010).
