Full casting announced for West End transfer of Everybody’s Talking About Jamie

The full cast has been announced for Everybody's Talking About Jamie, which is due to open at the Apollo Theatre in November.

As previously announced, John McCrea will reprise his role as Jamie from the original Sheffield Theatres production, with Josie Walker also returning to play his mother, Margaret.

The full cast includes: Daniel Davids (Levi), Mina Anwar (Rayia 'Ray' Begum), Luke Baker (Dean Paxton), Courtney Bowman (Fatimah), Tamsin Carroll (Miss Hedge), James Gillan (Tray Sophisticay), Harriet Payne (Bex), Shiv Rabheru (Cy), Lucie Shorthouse (Pritti Pasha) and Kirstie Skivington (Vicki), Alex Anstey (Laika Virgin), Luke Bayer, Marvyn Charles, Ken Christiansen (Jamie's Dad), Jordan Cunningham (Sayid), Ryan Hughes (Mickey), Daniel Jacob (Sandra Bollock), Cherelle Jay, Rebecca McKinnis, Phil Nichol (Hugo), Chloe Pole and Lauran Rae (Becca).

Written by Tom MacRae, with music from The Feeling frontman Dan Gillespie Sells, the musical is based on a BBC Three documentary about 16 year-old drag queen Jamie Campbell.

Directed by Jonathan Butterell, with design by Anna Fleischle, choreography by Kate Prince, lighting by Lucy Carter, sound by Paul Groothuis, video by Luke Halls.

Everybody's Talking About Jamie runs at the Apollo Theatre from 6 November to 21st April 2018, with an official opening on 22nd November.
