Camelot has book and lyrics by Alan Jay Lerner, and music by Frederick Loewe.

Produced by New Shakespeare Company, it is directed by Ian Talbot , designed by Paul Farnsworth , lighting by Jason Taylor, and choreography by Gillian Gregory.

"Camelot" first opened on Broadway in 1960 with Julie Andrews as Guenevere and Richard Burton as Arthur. Plagued by misfortune during production (the costume designer died, and Lerner suffered a heart attack), the show became known as a 'medical' rather than a 'musical'. But its charms won over the audiences when it eventually opened, and ran in both New York and London for over two years.

From their first meeting Arthur and Guenevere seem a perfect match. When Lancelot arrives from France all three must battle with their emotions in this powerful love triangle. Meanwhile Arthur and his knights of the round table try to defend Camelot from foes with revenge on their agenda.
