'Guys & Dolls' tickets available through August 2024
Nicholas Hytner’s immersive production of Guys & Dolls continues at the Bridge Theatre, with Daniel Mays returning to the role of Nathan Detroit.
In a five-star Guys & Dolls review on London Theatre, our critic raves: "Would luck be a lady for Nicholas Hytner? His much-hyped, immersive production of Guys & Dolls is set to run for six months at the Bridge Theatre — a significant gamble. Well, I’m delighted to report that he’s hit the jackpot with this jubilant revival, which somehow manages to be both the most exhilarating version of Frank Loesser’s musical I’ve seen, and also the most nuanced."
In this immersive adaptation of the classic musical comedy, audiences can experience the bustling streets of Manhattan, Adelaide's Hot Box Club, and the bars of Havana right in front of them. Guys & Dolls is a story of gamblers, showgirls, and unlikely romances set in 1950s New York City, all to Frank Loesser's timeless score.
