Hamlet by The Ouroboros Players at Drayton Theatre

The Ouroboros Players presents Hamlet, by William Shakespeare, directed by B.E. Johnston and Richard Crawford, at the Drayton Theatre, a fringe venue in Kensington, south London, 2 to 27 April 2013.

Set in the swinging sixties with Mad Men era costumes expect the sex, drugs, and rock and roll indicative of the period.

After his father's death, Hamlet is appalled by the hasty remarriage of his mother to his uncle. He is enraged, however, when he finds out the truth behind that death. Spurned by his girlfriend, plotted against by his friends, abandoned by his mother, Hamlet feigns madness in order to investigate further, but soon finds insanity gaining the upper hand...
