Harry Potter's Matthew Lewis cast in Our Boys

Harry Potter's Matthew Lewis has been cast as 'Mick' in Our Boys by Jonathan Lewis, which opens at the Duchess Theatre 3 Oct 2012, following previews from 26 Sep - booking to 15 Dec 2012.

He joins previously mentioned Cian Barry (Keith), Arthur Darvill (Parry) , Laurence Fox (Joe).

Matthew Lewis, who is making his West End debut, is best known for playing Neville Longbottom in the Harry Potter film series.Matthew was recently on our TV screens as Jamie in Kay Mellor's BBC One series The Syndicate. He recently completed filming on forthcoming British heist movie Wasteland, co-starring Timothy Spall. On stage he was last seen in the national tour of Agatha Christie's Verdict.

It is directed by David Grindley, designed by Jonathan Fensom, lighting by Jason Taylor, sound by Gregory Clarke. Produced by James Seabright, Jenny Topper, Sue Scott Davison and Lee Menzies.

An account of the tribulations, tedium and terror that young soldiers face when recovering from injuries incurred in the line of duty. Five young soldiers are killing nothing but time when their daily routine of TV, lonely hearts ads and light-hearted banter is shattered by the arrival of an unwelcome authority figure: a young officer fresh from Sandhurst. The camaraderie of this unlikely band of brothers is soon jeopardised by a dangerous incident and an act of betrayal. With charges of misconduct looming, accusations fly - and then the fighting really starts.
