Keeler by Gill Adams at Charing Cross Theatre

Paul Nicholas And Steven M. Levy presents Keeler, by Gill Adams, based on the 2001 autobiography 'The Truth At Last' by Christine Keeler with Douglas Thompson, at the Charing Cross Theatre, an Off West End venue in central London, from 31 Oct to 14 Dec 2013.

Reveals the inside story of the infamous Profumo affair. In 1963, the Secretary of State for war, John 'Jack' Profumo, was forced to resign after it was established that he had lied to the House about the nature of his relationship with a young showgirl Christine Keeler. She was also involved with a Russian spy during her affair with the Secretary of State. The ensuing scandal was, in part, responsible for the resignation of the Prime Minister Harold Macmillan and the suicide of the man who introduced Keeler to Profumo, Dr. Stephen Ward.
