Ex-Boyzone singer and Coronation Street actor Keith Duffy will make his stage debut in A Handful of Stars which runs at the Theatre 503 in Battersea, South London from 30 Apr to 24 May 2014.

Billy Roache's play was first performed in 1988 and is set in the Irish town of Wexford, where the number of 'shot-gun' weddings are outnumbered only by the number of random acts of violence in the pool hall. It was later incorporated into The Wexford Triology at the Bush Theatre, and is revived at Theatre 503 by Paul Robinson as part of their 'Second Look' season, which aims to mount new productions of neglected modern classics.

Keith Duffy is best known for being a member of the internationally recognised boyband 'Boyzone' which he originally joined in 1993. They released twenty one singles and seven albums, selling over twenty five million records worldwide. He later moved into acting in 2002 as he joined the cast of ITV's Coronation Street as Rover Return barman Ciaran. A Handful of Stars will mark his professional stage debut.
