Let It Be to close 8 Feb 2014 at Savoy Theatre

The Beatles tribute musical Let It Be, a theatrical concert which showcases the works of the world's most successful rock'n'roll band, has confirmed that it will close on 8 Feb 2014 at the Savoy Theatre, prior to a UK and Ireland tour beginning 28 Feb 2014.

To celebrate fifty years since THE BEATLES released their first single 'Love Me Do' in October 1962, the show opened at the Prince of Wales Theatre 24 Sep 2012, following previews from 14 Sep, to mostly good notices from the popular press. It transferred to the Savoy Theatre on 01 Feb 2013 and has now been seen by almost 400,000 people.

The show uses video footage to tell the story of the band's meteoric rise from their humble beginnings in Liverpool's Cavern Club, through the height of Beatlemania, to their later studio masterpieces.

Featuring more than twenty of The Beatles' greatest hits, including I Wanna Hold Your Hand, Hard Day's Night, Day Tripper, Sgt. Pepper's Lonely Hearts Club Band, Strawberry Fields, When I'm 64, Hello Goodbye, Get Back and many more, all performed by hand-picked master musicians.

The West End show is produced by Jamie Hendry Productions, Annerin Productions, Rain Productions, BB Promotion, MagicSpace Entertainment & Julian Stoneman Associates.
