London Theatre Workshop presents A Catered Affair

The London Theatre Workshop presents their production of Harvey Fierstein and John Bucchino's Broadway musical A Catered Affair, directed by Ray Rackham. The show will feature musical direction by David Keefe and will begin previews on 03 Jun 2014, officially open on 05 Jun and continue its limited engagement through to 21 Jun 2014 at the London Theatre Workshop in Fulham, south west London.

Synopsis: 'A uniquely human story of a Bronx mother's efforts to give her only daughter the elaborate wedding she never had - and the bride never asked for! In this musical of love and disaffection, A Catered Affair explores both our need for love and the true meaning of family.'

The cast will include David Anthony, Bryony Growdon, Aimee Matthews, Calum Melville, Maggie Robson, Dudley Rogers, Howard Samuels, Judith Street and Ellen Verenieks.

A Catered Affair also features scenic design by Ed Iliffe and Jonti Angel, lighting design by Max Richardson, and sound design by Ed Shaw.

A Catered Affair first premiered on Broadway in 2008, and was nominated for 3 Tony awards and 12 Drama Desk awards.
