Macbeth by Song of the Goat at the Barbican Pit 3 Nov

William Shakespeare's Macbeth by Song of the Goat Theatre, at the Barbican Pit from 3 to 20 Nov 2010, as part of a UK tour.

This is Shakespeare's tragedy retold through a blend of text, movement and polyphonic song. Presented by an international ensemble of eight performers, the production explores the musicality and muscularity of Shakespeare's poetry and the colours and sounds of his language.

Song of the Goat Theatre from Poland, was founded in 1996 by Grzegorz Bral and Anna Zubrzycki, leading members of the international Gardzienice Theatre Association.
