Marcus Lovett & 'Phantom' from 3 Sep 2012 at Her Majesty's

Marcus Lovett takes over the role of 'The Phantom' in The Phantom of the Opera from 3 Sep 2012, at Her Majesty's Theatre. (The Phantom is currently being played by Peter Joback ).

Also joining the show at the same time are Simon Thomas as 'Raoul', Lara Martins as 'Carlotta' and Anna O'Byrne as 'Christine' at certain performances.

The Phantom of the Opera will continue to star Sofia Escobar as 'Christine', Cheryl McAvoy(Madame Giry), Jeremy Secomb (Piangi), Barry James (Monsieur Firmin), Gareth Snook (Monsieur Andre), Anna Forbes (Meg Giry).

The Phantom of the Opera has been playing in London since 1986. It has been seen in 124 cities in 25 countries and played to over 100 million people. Worldwide, "The Phantom of the Opera" has grossed over £1.7 billion

Directed by Harold Prince, it has music by Andrew Lloyd Webber and lyrics by Charles Hart .
